ABOUT DR COY
Behind every Releeese product is decades of pioneering scientific research.
Dr Johannes Coy is a German molecular biologist and cancer researcher with over 70 published scientific papers on nutritional health. In 1995 he discovered the TKTL1 gene and its unique role in how the body metabolises sugar, a landmark breakthrough that changed our understanding of sugar, energy, and cellular metabolism.
In 2022 that discovery received significant scientific validation when Nobel Prize laureate in Physiology and Medicine, Svante Pääbo, confirmed the TKTL1 gene as a critical link in the evolution of human intelligence and cognitive performance.
Driven by his research, Dr Coy spent years developing unique blends of naturally derived, lower glycaemic sugars.
